Renovare Socks Pattern (digital PDF)

This pattern represents a renewal. Sometimes, you just have to start over, get back to doing things in the way that are natural to you, that make room for you.

Designing these socks was a much-needed refresher & renewal for me to remember to design what I like to knit.

A yarn like the Tukuwool Sock will work best. Think of a sturdy sportweight yarn with good memory; wool or wool/nylon blends are ideal!

This is a PDF pattern, not a finished product. Your pattern file will be available for download once your payment is processed.

This pattern was born from wanting to knit a sock that had a nice pattern rhythm, could travel well, and would work in solid, semisolid, and variegated colorways.

If you look closely, you can see that the leg pattern resembles some of the flowering plants in the Heliconia family, hence the pattern’s name.
